Gravel Worlds Launches the Gravel Worlds Foundation — A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit to Give Back to the Gravel Community

Gravel Worlds is proud to announce the creation of the Gravel Worlds Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the communities and athletes that make Gravel Worlds possible.

The Gravel Worlds Foundation will serve as the charitable arm of Gravel Worlds, focusing on supporting local and national initiatives that promote biking, running, and overall fitness. Through donations, event proceeds, and community partnerships, the Foundation will empower both community and personal growth while encouraging health, inclusivity, and connection across the endurance world.

The Gravel Worlds Foundation empowers community and personal growth through events and charitable support for biking, running, and fitness initiatives, promoting health, inclusivity, and connection.

“Gravel Worlds has always been about more than just racing,” said Shane Peed, Founder and President of the Gravel Worlds Foundation. “This nonprofit will act as a magnifying glass for the incredible communities that support our events and for the broader cycling community. We want to shine a light on the good being done and help it grow even stronger.”

In 2025, Gravel Worlds has committed $100,000 to charitable causes, reinforcing the belief that endurance events can be a powerful vehicle for change—both on and off the bike.
